July 13 & 14, 2002 **CELEBRATION OF ANIMALS 2002**
Gather together with like-minded people to honor the animals that enrich our lives sin so many ways. Celebration of Animals 2002 is an opportunity to learn more about caring for and communicating with animals, specially your companion animals. Saturday July 13, 2002 (Weekend Classes begin at 9:00am and will proceed through evening) EMERGENCY FIRST AID FOR PETS: Presenter: April Frost. Knowing what to do in an emergency can save your pets life. April will teach you how to perform CPR on dogs and cats, recognize the symptoms of shock and how to treat for it, safe restraint and transport for injured animals as well as what you need to have in your first aide kit. Learn what "kitchen cupboard" items you probably already have in your home that can be used to stop bleeding, prevent shock, treat diarrhea etc. Find out which Flower Essences and Homeopathic remedies you should have on hand for emergencies. April will also teach you to identify common herbs (weeds) that can be used as well as how to prepare and administer them. Everyone participating in this workshop will receive a free bottle of April's "Animal Emergency Care Flower Essence." Animals will be provided for demonstrations and to enable you to practice taking an animal’s pulse. Saturday Evening: A potluck supper and cook out. As well, an evening campfire and workshop. (Of course the campfire part will be dependent on the drought conditions at the time if fires will be permitted) CONNECTING WITH YOUR TOTEM ANIMAL: April and Leo will lead you through a guided visualization to enable you to find out which animal is your totem animal; what the energy of that animal is; what the significance of that animal in your life at this time, and how to call upon the energy of your totem animal for assistance. Sunday July 14, 2002 9:00am to 4:00pm CONNECTING WITH WILD ANIMALS IN NATURE: Presenters, Leo Rogers, April Frost and George Bibens will help you identify and connect with the abundance of animals in nature that surround you. ANIMAL SPIRIT COMMUNICATION: Presenter, Leo Rogers. Like humans, animals live on, in spirit form and the transformation we call death. Their spirits stay with us to help and guide us. Learn the basics of communicating with animal spirits. HANDOUTS * DOOR PRIZES!!
Registration Fee: $195. Master Card & Visa accepted. Limited primitive camping available. Quiet, friendly dogs without any aggression issues toward other animals or people may accompany you. However you will need to bring a crate for them to stay in during certain portions of the workshops. FOR YOUR DOGS SAFETY, YOU WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO LEAVE DOGS IN CARS.
